BNA Privacy Statement

 

Bobst North America Inc. (“BNA”) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy.  The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the BNA In-Touch website (www.bobst.com/intouch) (the ‘In-Touch Site”). Please note that when you access any external links from the In-Touch Site (including any BNA subsidiary sites), such external sites may have different privacy policies specific to those sites.  We encourage you to read all applicable privacy policies.

 

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE GATHER FROM THOSE WHO VISIT OUR SITE?

 

At BNA, we intend to give you as much control as possible over your personal information. In general, you can visit the In-Touch Site without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. There are times, however, when we may need information from you, such as your name, coordinates and e-mail address. It is our intent to let you know before we collect personal information from you on the Internet.

 

If you choose to give us personal information via the Internet that we may need – for example, to correspond with you or to provide you with a subscription – it is our intent to let you know how we will use such information. If you tell us that you do not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with you, we will respect your wishes. We do keep track of the domains from which people visit us. We analyze this data for trends and statistics, and then we discard it.

 

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

 

Automatically Collected Information. Some information is automatically received and sometimes collected from you when you visit the In-Touch Site. We receive and collect the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use and your operating system; the date and time you access the In-Touch Site; and the Internet address of the In-Touch Site from which you are linked directly to the In-Touch Site. We use this information to monitor the usage of the In-Touch Site. Also, when we send e-mails to you, we may be able to identify information about your e-mail address, such as whether you can read graphic-rich HTML e-mails. All of the information we automatically capture provides us with the ability to enhance our customers’ search and purchasing experiences and to determine aggregate information about our user base and usage patterns.

 

Information Collected via Cookies. We may also place small data files, called “cookies,” in the browser file of your computer’s hard drive.  These cookies automatically identify your browser to our server whenever you interact with the In-Touch Site.  We use the cookies to record In-Touch Site statistics.  Most browsers automatically accept the cookies, but you usually can change your browser setting to prevent the acceptance of cookies. Some areas of the In-Touch Site may allow you to conduct e-commerce transactions (event registration, donation, etc.).  In connection with these transactions, we collect data necessary to complete the transaction that is furnished by you.  This information may be furnished to a third party in order to facilitate the transaction.

We may create links to other web sites that we think may be of interest to you.  We do not endorse any other web sites, and our privacy policy applies only to your use of the In-Touch Site.  We have not reviewed the privacy policies of any other web sites we link to the In-Touch Site. Since we are committed to your privacy and security, we have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to attempt to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online.  However, please remember that no transmission of data over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us or from us, and you do so at your own risk.  When you please an order or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server.  Once we receive your transmission, we use our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.

CHANGES IN BNA’S PRIVACY POLICY

 

By using our In-Touch Site, you consent to our collection and the use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.  If we change our privacy and procedures, we will post these changes on our In-Touch Site.  You have the opportunity to review privacy policy each time you use the In-Touch Site so that you are aware of any modifications made to these policies.

 

CHOICE/OPT OUT

 

The In-Touch Site provides you the opportunity, by modifying your personal profile contained within the In-Touch Site, to opt-out of receiving communications from us at any time. If you request your account information be deleted from our database, we may maintain information about individual sales transactions for recordkeeping and servicing.
